this is my picture of the transit ofVenus that I made on paint. Its when Venus passes the sun and we see it like a black dot on the Sun. Australia is the luckiest country because we see the whole thing. Melbourne can see it from 8:16am-2:44pm. just to let you know it will not happen again in 105 years. one reason scientists are wanting to see this is because they can measure the distance between the Sun and the Earth.here is a picture of Venus and the Sun.

Kaya's Turkey holiday
On the planes it was boring but there was games and movies. The apartment we stayed in wasn't very good. But the good thing is that there was a park and the shops were near by. There was a lot of cats and there were 2 funny ones.
When we left the apartment in Istanbul we took the bus and the fairy-boat and went to mums cousins summer house plus the beach is really close. it took 7 hours to get there.
I made a friend here his name is Ahmet and he has a wii plushe's 5 houses down.
My grandma came on the 20th of august and we went to see her.
Grandma left on the 25th of august to Izmir and the night before she came to visit us.
every night me and Ahmet go to the trampoline. Turkey calls it zip zip.
when we go to my grandmas motel i get to go on a kayak at the beach.
on friday night in Turkey and saturday afternoon in Australia we will be leaving Akçay and going to Antalya. it takes 10 hours to get there on bus. we cant go on a plane because there is no airport. only the capitals have airport.

we stayed for ten days and we went to the beach every day there was comedyshows every night at the amphitheatre and mini discos which are for kids theres also a tunnel that goes under the road to the beach which is part of the resort and the 2nd last thing is that there are carts so you don't have to walk but we rarely went on one. the last thing is that we went on 2 tours.
after the resort we went to Istanbul on aaeroplane not a bus and it was almost 1 hour and we stayed in mums cousins house for 19 days but we didn't go to the beach.
my grand parents went to Samsun a couple of days after we arrived so they can se there friends because thats were they were born.
it has been more than a week since my grand parents went to Samsun but they came back 4 days before we went to Australia.
